Whilst a director at DEGW, David Jenkin was responsible for the doubling in size of Boots’ headquarters building in Nottingham: the iconic D90, which is listed grade 2*. This accommodated 2,000 staff in a new shared, neighbourhood based environment, which made efficiencies through the release of older buildings, the use of less space, and the increase in effectiveness of teams in an environment that encouraged integration and supported the Boots brand.

and-associates then refurbished the other major office building on the site (D91) for 2,000 workplaces, re-planning and designing a range of other facilities including their central Product Testing Laboratory, offices for Boots Healthcare International HQ, a feasibility design for the proposed ‘Boots Academy’, and office designs for their Alliance Boots location in south London.
